This is Melina, I think it is pretty amazing how you have been working on your research project for a whole year! That is a lot of dedication I'm sure. I actually learned about eutrophication last semester with John Schampel, he made this subject so interesting and it really opened my eyes to how this happens and how dangerous it can be to our planet. It was awesome to learn this, especially to find out exactly what is going on in a biological perspective. We did our own experiment in lab, which is probably so mini compared to your research! Just wanted to share how cool I think your research project sounds, and I will probably ask questions about how its going, or what you have done when I see you.
